Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AliSun website at alisun.co, the AliSun web application at app.alisun.co and the AliSun Chrome extension (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by AliSun ("AliSun", "we", "us" or "our").

By creating an account, signing in, purchasing a plan or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

AliSun provides research tools for e-commerce and dropshipping sellers, including product research on AliExpress products, Shopify store research and traffic estimates, store theme research, advertising research ("Ads Spy"), product videos, collections and the Chrome extension.

The data shown in the Service is collected from publicly available sources and third-party providers, and parts of it (such as traffic, sales or popularity figures) are estimates. It is provided for research and information purposes only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding contract. The Service is intended for business and professional use.

3. Accounts and security

• You may sign up with an email address and password or with your Google account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• An account is for one person. You may not share, sell, rent or transfer your account or your sign-in details, or let several people use the same account.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at service@alisun.co if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Plans, credits and billing

• Plans. The Service offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. The features, prices and usage limits of each plan are shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase.
• Credits and limits. Searches and data views consume credits, and some features have daily limits. Credits and limits are reset at the start of each billing period; unused credits do not roll over and have no cash value.
• Payment. Paid plans are billed in advance, in US dollars, through PayPal. By subscribing you authorize the recurring charge of the plan price for each billing period through the PayPal billing agreement you approve. We do not receive or store your card or bank details.
• Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled (see section 5).
• Price changes. We may change our prices. A new price applies to an existing subscription only from the next billing period after we have notified you by email or in the Service at least 14 days in advance; you may cancel before it takes effect.
• Taxes. Prices do not include taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase, except taxes on our income.
• Upgrades and downgrades. You may change plans at any time. A new plan starts a new billing period with the limits of that plan.

5. Cancellation and refunds

• You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at service@alisun.co or through live chat, or by cancelling the automatic payment in your PayPal account. To avoid the next charge, cancel before the renewal date.
• After cancellation your paid plan stays active until the end of the current billing period; your account then moves to the free plan. No further charges are made after cancellation.
• You can try the Service on the free plan before buying. Payments are therefore non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods and unused credits, except where a refund is required by applicable consumer protection law or where we charged you in error, in which case we will refund the amount wrongly charged.
• If you open a payment dispute or chargeback, we may suspend the account until it is resolved.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, download in bulk, resell, redistribute or publish the data of the Service, or use it to build a competing product or database;
• access the Service through bots, scripts or any automated means other than the interfaces we provide, or exceed or circumvent usage limits, credits or access controls;
• reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the Service or of the extension, except as permitted by law;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers or networks, or test their vulnerability without our written permission;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to infringe the intellectual property or other rights of others (for example by copying product photos, videos, ads or store content without permission), or in breach of the terms of the platforms you sell on (such as AliExpress, Shopify or Meta);
• upload or send malicious code, spam or content that is unlawful, misleading or abusive.

7. Chrome extension

The AliSun Chrome extension adds AliSun information to supported websites you visit, such as AliExpress product pages and Shopify stores. It is subject to these Terms, to the Chrome Web Store terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains what information the extension processes. We may update the extension automatically through the Chrome Web Store. You can remove it at any time from your browser.

8. Third-party platforms, content and links

• AliSun is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by AliExpress, Alibaba, Shopify, Meta, Google, Amazon, eBay or any store shown in the Service. Their names, logos, product photos, videos and ads belong to their respective owners and are shown for research purposes.
• The Service links to third-party websites and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products, availability or practices; your use of them is governed by their own terms.
• Some links to AliExpress and other merchants are affiliate links: we may earn a commission when you buy through them, at no extra cost to you.
• Payments are processed by PayPal and sign-in with Google is provided by Google, under their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, texts, logos and the compilation of its data, is owned by AliSun or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms and to your plan, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Service for your own business research. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

10. Your data

You keep all rights to the information you add to the Service, such as your collections. You grant us the rights needed to host and process it in order to provide the Service. Our use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the data is complete, accurate or up to date, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that using it will lead to any sales, profit or business result. Business decisions you make based on the Service are your own responsibility.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AliSun will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Service, even if we have been advised of their possibility. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim and (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, such as liability for fraud or, where applicable, for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold AliSun harmless from claims, damages and costs (including reasonable legal fees) brought by third parties and resulting from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Service or of its data.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account, with notice where reasonably possible, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 6, 9, 11, 12, 13 and 16) survive it.

15. Changes to the Service and to these Terms

We continuously improve the Service and may add, change or remove features. We may update these Terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the Service before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not, you may cancel your subscription and stop using the Service.

16. Disputes

If you have a problem with the Service, please contact us first at service@alisun.co: most issues can be solved quickly this way. If a dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it will be settled under applicable law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.

17. General

• These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and AliSun about the Service.
• If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
• You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
• These Terms are written in English; if they are translated, the English version prevails.
